Top 10 Pumping Party Hotspots in Southeast Asia

Posted By : Threeland Travel / Getting around Vietnam & Indochina

We like adventurous travel, new cultures, and learning as much as we can about the areas we visit, but we also want to have fun.
Although you may neglect Southeast Asia as a fantastic party vacation destination in favor of other continents and countries known for their clubbing and party culture scene, Southeast Asia is really home to some of the world's top party holiday spots.
All year round, Southeast Asian countries provide us with the cheapest, tastiest cuisine, the cheapest drinks, and some of the cheapest, liveliest accommodations we are likely to discover. That's on top of the stunning beaches and, of course, some of the finest parties on the planet.
Here are the greatest spots in Southeast Asia to party.

Where can you experience party life in Southeast Asia?

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Pub Street in Siem Reap can be fairly wild. After a long day of seeing Angkor Wat or any of the area's other prominent temples, a couple of Angkor beers will undoubtedly touch the spot.
You will want to be one of the hundreds of visitors who took the famed sunrise photograph at Angkor Wat. However, the pub street in Siem Reap will ensure that you are not awake or sober enough to make it happen.
Angkor Wat is only one of many ancient sites. On the opposite end of the scale, you could take a liquor cruise down the river.

Koh Rong, Cambodia

The finest nightlife in Koh Rong is concentrated around Koh Tui Village's backpacker and hippy bars. There isn't much of a nightlife scene on the other beaches. Still, the options at the island's major port are becoming more varied and exciting, with amazing views, vibrant parties, inexpensive drinks, and relaxed feelings.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia

This is Cambodia’s most popular party island, with cheap drinks and loud evenings.
The Dolphin Shack and JJ's Playground are the two main party locations in Sihanoukville. There are plenty more pubs and locations to hang out in Sihanoukville, but if you are out partying, you will almost certainly wind up at one of these two. They both perform music that is comparable to hip-hop, EDM, and nostalgic classics. The beers are cool, the cocktails are inexpensive, and the backpacker atmosphere is fantastic.

Vang Vieng, Laos

At first appearance, a little hippie community situated by the river and surrounded by Karst limestone mountains may appear to be an unusual party destination on your Laos tours.
It turns out that it has successfully combined magnificent scenery and adventurous activities with a relaxed yet amazing party environment.
Nights out here often begin in the late afternoon at one of the numerous riverfront bars where people assemble to drink Lao Beer and 'hippy shakes' while watching the sun set above the mountains.

Da Lat, Vietnam

Da Lat is one of Vietnam's lesser-known locations. Some people come to the Crazy House and Crazy Bar and then go. It is reasonable, but a halt at Da Lat is more than justified. While the Crazy Bar is not jam-packed, it is one of the most unique places. Also, less crowd means more room for you to enjoy.
A couple of beers here before heading to one of Da Lat's busier establishments is the best way to break up the long bus ride to Ho Chi Minh City. Da Lat is more than a destination because of the lush rolling hills, the weather, and the thriving nightlife scene.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam's largest metropolis and is located in the country's south. It is a well-known tourist destination famed for its active and crazy nightlife. It offers travelers a variety of late-night activities such as pubs, nightclubs, music venues, entertainment venues, and karaoke bars.
One of the most memorable and spectacular party experiences in Ho Chi Minh City is going and partying in one of the city's many sky bars. In addition, Ho Chi Minh City features a number of well-known nightclubs that provide unforgettable party experiences that run all night and into the early hours of the morning. This city will make your Vietnam tours exceptionally memorable.

Castaways Island, Vietnam

Castaways Island is a small, lovely island located in Halong Bay. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most attractive spots on the planet, with enough to see and do around. The bucket list Castaways Island excursion is also quite popular among travelers!

Hanoi, Vietnam

Whether you enjoy chilling with a drink at a pub, dancing all night, or exploring the nightlife of the locals, Hanoi has you covered with its many nightlife options. So, do not forget to include Hanoi on your holidays to Vietnam.
Hanoi Night Market is one of the greatest venues to explore Hanoi's lively nightlife. There are numerous stalls selling many things (fashion, souvenirs, specialties, and so on). The night market's street food area is also a must-see.

Bagan, Myanmar

One of the lesser-known Southeast Asian countries on our list of party places is Myanmar. You will further read why the Myanmar Tour has made it to our celebratory list.
While there are many waterfront restaurants in Myanmar, the greatest ones for a romantic and unforgettable evening are largely concentrated around Bagan. Even if they do not open till late at night, dining there is a must for an unforgettable nightlife experience. To make the most of every moment, arrive early and secure a table ahead of time.

Yangon, Myanmar

The largest lake in Yangon, Inya Lake, is home to various activities and eateries and is located far to the north of Myanmar. It is recommended that you arrive between 4 and 4:30 p.m. to wander around before savoring the splendor at night.
Watching the set and listening to the temple bells will restore your thoughts. At night, hundreds of candles and incense sticks brighten the environment. After that, visit one of Yangon's beer stations or pubs to enjoy the city's nightlife and the famous Burmese beer.

Night markets in Myanmar

Myanmar's night markets are noted for their product diversity as well as their delicacies. People who visit Myanmar's night markets receive a flavor of Burmese culture, ethnicity, and tradition.
The marketplaces are open till late at night so that guests can enjoy their international or domestic travels to the fullest without running out of time. Myanmar's most popular night markets are in Yangon, Chinatown Yangon, Anawrahta Road, and Mandalay. Take a Burmese beer, sip it on, and explore the market.
