Itinerary

You will be received with a warm welcome at Siem Reap International Airport and transferred to the hotel. The evening is free for you to relax at the hotel. In case you wish to explore the city, you can choose to visit Pub Street which is famous for its quality yet economical restaurants and bars. Welcome dinner with Apsara Dance show.

First up is a visit to the Angkor Thom complex. Inside these great walls, you’ll explore the fascinating beauty of Bayon and the world-famous Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider) Temple. Next up, satisfy your hunger at one of the many local restaurants within the Angkor Complex with some tasty Cambodian eats!
Your last two stops will be at the enormous and beautiful Angkor Wat, followed by a beautiful sunset view from the top of Phnom Bakheng. The temples on this tour are among the biggest in the Angkor Complex and Phnom Bakheng has a 300 person limit at the peak, so we keep the temple count small to ensure enough time at each marvelous stop!

After breakfast, get ready for a coach journey from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh (no guide escort) by public shuttle bus. On arrival, you will meet one of our representatives and be transferred to your hotel in Phnom Penh. Continue your journey in the Pearl of the Orient, Phnom Penh, visiting by yourself the dazzling white and gold complex of the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Move on to visit the Genocide Museum or venture to the former Tuol Svay Prey High School, which the Khmer Rouge set up as prison in May 1976, to detain those accused of opposing the Pol Pot regime. Be prepared to be shaken by this moving reminder of the genocide that occurred during Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge regime.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Phnom Penh bus station (no guide escort) to board on your bus to Ho Chi Minh City (still called Saigon by many locals). Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, you are transferred to the hotel. If there’s time, you must stroll around the downtown part of the bustling Ho Chi Minh City to explore the different local ways of life. Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a centre of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. As opposed to its northern counterpart, this metropolis is filled with automobiles, numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes.

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars. 
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours of bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have a short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. 
Break time for relaxation or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (on your own arrangement).

FLIGHT FROM HO CHI MINH CITY - HANOI (B)
Morning at leisure to explore the buzzing, modern city of Ho Chi Minh. Airport transfer in Ho Chi Minh city without guide. 
Upon arrival at Noibai Hanoi Airport, you’ll be met by our tour guide & transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. Afternoon / Evening at leisure to explore the evening sights on your own.

If you wish to see how the Hanoi people rise and shine in the morning, wake up early and run to a lake close by your hotel, you can join an exciting scene of hundreds of locals, passionately attentive in their morning exercises of Tai Chi quan, jogging, martial arts, classical dance and so on. 
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Halong Bay by cruise’s shuttle bus, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO since 1994 and 2006, and check in our overnight boat. Enjoy a trip on Halong with stops to visit caves or to swim and enjoy the sunset on the sea. Dinner with fresh seafood! Overnight onboard.

Overnight in Halong/ Lan Ha Bay
 

Situated in the “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous it is seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. The boat will take us to go about marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent, including the Fisherman’s Head, Turtle, the Sail, the Incense Burner Rock, the cute Sea Dog Rock or Cock Fighting Rocks and so on. Return to the Wharf at midday to be back to Hanoi. Evening at leisure and overnight in Hanoi.

The bus and tour guide will pick you up from hotel in old quarter about 8 AM, driving to Tran Quoc Pagoda is located on an island east of West Lake (Tay Ho District), with 1500-year history, which is considered to be the oldest in Thang Long-Hanoi. It was the Buddhist center of Thang Long citadel in the Ly and Tran dynasties. With its historical and architectural values, Tran Quoc pagoda is famous for its sacred Buddha land, which attracts many Buddhists and visitors to Vietnam.
Then, you will visit Ho Chi Minh complex ( Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the presidential palace, house on stilts, the final resting place of  Uncle  Ho, where he lived and worked from  1954-  1969). 
After that, visit the Ethnology Museum, this is the most recent yet probably the largest and undoubtedly the most interesting Museums in Ha Noi and Viet Nam. There are both indoor and outdoor sections, while the in–housed exhibition is particularly informative, the outdoor display and activities make the museum stand out from the rest. There are a number of houses modeled after the traditional architecture of ethnic minorities, especially those who live in Northern and Central highlands.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, an ancient school of Thang Long and the first university in Vietnam, Temple of Literature is acknowledged as an ancient historical-cultural heritage that gives tourists a deeper understanding of Hanoi's years of culture and tradition.
Continue the visit to Hoa Lo Prison which was built in 1899. The French kept mainly political prisoners here along with those awaiting sentencing at the nearby Court of Justice, also where American pilots who had been shot down and captured were kept as prisoners of war.  The  pilots  called  it, sarcastically, the “Hanoi Hilton.” John McCain was held here at various times during his five and a half years as a POW.
In the evening, experience the Water Puppet Show before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Please note:
- On Monday and Friday morning Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and museum are closed, instead by the Vietnamese women museum.
- Wearing sort clothing is not recommeded to visit the mausoleum and temple.
 

Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and you may choose to you can take a Cyclo tour (guest’s own account) around the Old Quarter Streets.

07:30 – 08:00 -  Our guide will meet you at your hotel in the Old Quarter and start a 120 km comfortable shared deluxe bus journey through a verdant landscape. Stop over for a rest on the way.
10:30 – Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with Dinh King Temple dating back to the 17th Century.
12:00 – Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with great local cuisine.
14:00 – Take a sampan boat trip owned and rowed by locals, gently sailing along Ngo Dong river, capturing the wonderful scenery of Karst hills, rice fields, and peaceful villages, and passing “Hang Ca”, “Hang Hai” and “Hang Ba”.
16:00 – Arrive Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa long mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with a sprecious view of nature.
17:30 – Return to our Limousine bus and then come back to Ha noi.
20:30 – Drop you off at your hotel.
