My husband and I booked with Threeland Travel based on a friend's recommendation and had a good time. Our agent, Ms Stella was very good and prompt with replying all of our emails. We had a customized itinerary based on their Indochina Essential Draw to Vietnam and Cambodia. We had 5 local guides and 4 of them were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Most hotels that we stayed were fine and food provided were good.

We have just had our third visit to Vietnam and the third time we have used Threeland Travel. Each time we have visited Vietnam we have created our own private tour with Threeland. They are very obliging and will accommodate whatever your likes for touring - and wherever you want to visit. One of the big highlights this trip was a visit to Pu Luong Mountain Retreat - just totally unspoiled in the mountain area about 4 hours drive from Hanoi. Walked through the rice fields, visited local villages and had a real feel of the area. The guide and driver were just the best and this is the third time with both of them as well. Would strongly recommend Threeland and can't wait speak highly enough of the professional manner in arranging our trip and organising our holiday.

We have just returned from a wonderful private tour of Vietnam and Cambodia arranged by Linda and her team at Threeland Travel. They were recommended to us by friends and they were fantastic!! Our itinerary, flights, hotels and many meals were all arranged by them all by e mail and the whole trip could not have gone better. We visited Hanoi, Hue, Ho-ian, Ho Chi Minh City, Phom Penh and Siem Riep. At each destination we were met by helpful and knowledgeable guides and drivers so the whole trip was stress free. The hotels and meals were excellent. We visited incredible places and have returned with wonderful memories. Thank you so much Threeland travel.

Vietnam Tours – Explore the Land of the Ascending Dragon

Being a part of Southeast Asia comes with its own set of perks. From serene landscapes and scenic cruises along the bay to thrilling adventures that stir your soul — a Vietnam country tour offers it all. But what truly makes Vietnam so captivating? Why does this vibrant nation attract millions of travelers each year from across the globe?

There’s far more to Vietnam than what meets the eye. With Vietnam tours curated by Threeland Travel, you’ll uncover the cultural depth, natural wonders, and warm hospitality that define this extraordinary destination — often referred to as The Land of the Ascending Dragon.

Even hundreds of Vietnam travel packages can only scratch the surface of what this country has to offer. Vietnam is more than just borders and landmarks; it’s a living, breathing tapestry of history, tradition, and humanity. It’s only right to embrace this land with open arms—just as its people warmly welcome every traveler.

Whether you're gently cruising through the mystical limestone karsts of Ha Long Bay (The Descending Dragon), or soaking in the dynamic energy of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam seamlessly blends the old with the new. This unique contrast is what makes luxury Vietnam tours so unforgettable.

And for travelers looking to explore from abroad, our Vietnam tour from USA options provide convenient, tailor-made experiences that ensure comfort, immersion, and authenticity at every step. With Threeland Travel, you don’t just visit Vietnam—you truly experience it.

Where History is Timeless

From the kings of the Hồng Bàng dynasty to becoming the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, this iconic country has witnessed warriors, governance, ancient culture, and modern architecture. A tour to Vietnam is filled with trips to some ancient sites where the remnants of the history are still intact. Many museums and war memorials are dedicated to the rich history and culture that Vietnam has since thousands of years.

Cu Chi Tunnels, the Imperial City of Hue, the ancient town of Hoi An, and the Khai Dinh Tomb are some of the finest pieces of history and how history is kept intact despite all these years. The inclusion of these things creates some of the best Vietnam tours that travelers can book.

When Should You Plan a Luxury Vietnam Tour?

Although the climate throughout the country varies greatly with the different territories, some of the best trips to Vietnam often take place between November and April. Often called the “dry season”, the months from November to April offer warm and pleasant weather where the temperature doesn’t go too high.

As the name suggests, the dry season also brings minimal rainfall so you can see Vietnam in all its beauty and majesty when you’re on one of our Vietnam tours.

Where Pristine Nature Thrives

Aside from the ancient cities, monuments, and remnants of the previous generations, Vietnam has an abundance of natural and undisturbed beauty like green forests, autumn leaves, majestic waterfalls, mountains that reach clouds, and more.

It’s only fair to say that any travel package for Vietnam would be incomplete without a visit to Ha Long Bay. Also referred to as the Descending Dragon, a cruise along the Ha Long Bay makes for one of the best Vietnam tour packages.

01

What to wear in Vietnam?
x-mark
The weather in Vietnam varies based on the location and time of year. So, what you wear depends on the time of year and which part of Vietnam you are in. For most of the Vietnam tours, pack
  • - Breathable, light clothes like linen and cotton.
  • - Comfortable footwear like walking shoes.
  • - Light rain jacket or umbrella.
  • - Modest attire covering your knees and shoulders, especially while visiting pagodas and temples.
Based on the diverse climate of Vietnam, what you need to carry depends on the month and where you are going.
Southern Vietnam, places like the Mekong Delta, are always warm. May to November is the wet season, and December to April is the dry season. But even in the wet season, the rain is intense but only for a short time. Carry loose-fitting, lightweight clothes to enjoy your Vietnam trip package.
Northern Vietnam includes places like Halong Bay, Sapa, and Hanoi. May to October is the summer season. Carry light trousers, shorts, an umbrella, a light rain jacket, and T-shirts. November to April is the winter season, when it can get very cold. Pack long-sleeved T-shirts, jackets, and layers. During the winter months, you will need a hoodie and some warm clothes.
Central Vietnam includes places such as Hue, Da Nang, and Hoi An. January to August is the dry season in this region. Carry dresses, shorts, light, breathable clothes, and swimwear. September to December is the wet season. Expect typhoons and rain. Do not forget to carry rainwear - an umbrella or a jacket is a must.
Pro-Tip: No matter where you go, bring a pair of comfortable footwear. You will be doing a lot of exploring on your tour to Vietnam.
