Travelling Around Vietnam For Milky Way Hunting Spots

Springtime is also a great time to travel and observe the glittering galaxy passing across beautiful Vietnam. Threeland Travel is showing to you where you can see it. 

A ribbon of milky white light that spans the night sky is the Milky Way. It is brightest in the constellation Sagittarius, which is the Milky Way's core, and stretches from the constellation Cassiopeia in the north to the constellation Crux in the south.

Ke Ga lighthouse on Ba island - the most beautiful island in Binh Thuan. Ke Ga is not only "the most beautiful sunrise viewing spot in Vietnam" but also an ideal place to take pictures of the Milky Way, especially on days when there are no ships at sea, the sky is not disturbed by light.

 

The place "Touch Jupiter" is in the pink grass hill area, Da Lat at 3 am.

 

The Milky Way is often visible year-round in the sky. But, in Vietnam, March to October, on days when the sky is bright and moonless, free of clouds and rain, is the best time to view and take pictures. At 1-3 am, the Milky Way will begin to rise toward the southeast.

Tan Thanh Beach, Go Cong Dong, Tien Giang is a perfect location to capture the Milky Way when there is relatively low light noise. 

 

The heart tea hill in Moc Chau, Son La at night is also spiritual and equally brilliant.

 

The Milky Way will only be visible in areas free of light pollution, such as suburbs, the ocean, high mountains, etc. We won't be able to see the Milky Way since most of the lights in cities will obstruct it.

En cave waterfall (or K50 waterfall) at Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve, K'Bang district, Gia Lai becomes more mysterious and magical when there is the Milky Way "squeezing" behind.

 

Morning Nhu in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai is one of the places with the most beautiful terraced fields in the Northwest, also an easy place to admire the Milky Way.

 

Wide-angle lenses with big apertures are needed to be able to cover the long-running galaxy and collect a better amount of light. A somewhat high-quality camera with a competent noise reduction setting is also necessary to make the image cleaner and less noisy.
