Bau Ca Cai mangrove forest covers an area of 110 hectares, famous for its millions of white toad trees planted in a straight line on the swamp, creating a beautiful green picture. The planting of trees under the project “Strengthening resilience to the impacts of climate change for vulnerable coastal communities in Vietnam” in Quang Ngai, coordinated by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) with the funding government.
The area of Bau Ca Cai used to be very wild, with sparse vegetation. Since the implementation of the project, the white toad tree has been planted in a straight line, creating a beautiful windbreak for this area. Since then, the name Bau Ca Cai mangrove forest has been known to many people, and curious tourists have also increased.
The white toad tree is suitable for the soil, climate and is well cared for, so it grows well and is protected by the local people, so shrimp, fish and aquatic products in the forest proliferate very quickly. Therefore, people have more income from fishing and open tourism services, boating to bring visitors.
Each season, Bau Ca Cai has its own attractive beauty that makes many tourists flutter and can't take their eyes off.
