Starting your food tour with an introduction to the local food scene over a light and refreshing appetizer, Nộm Bò Khô — green papaya salad with beef. Your guide then will take you to a local market where you will get to know the background of Vietnamese cooking ingredients, many kind of goods used to cook in the local meals, plenty of the tropical fruits,.. Your food tour will be incomplete without tasting a bowl of Phở - noodle soup, the first and foremost to refer when talking about Vietnamese food. Keep wandering around the streets in the Old Quarter you will see many vendors selling many kind of fresh fruits, traditional cakes and snacks. Take the picture and select your favorite food from their stuff. The crisp baguette with the combination of cheese, chilli sauce, pickled vegetables, fried egg, grilled pork/chicken/beef is also in the list to taste for your tour. You will answer why it becomes a favorite food of our people. Your food tour will end at a hidden café, one of the few left in the city that still serves egg coffee a scrumptious local delicacy that you can find at nowhere else. If you are not a fan of coffee, a cup of egg with green bean will be served to savour instead.
