From Hanoi, head to Son Tay to visit Mia Pagoda, where displays hundreds of ancient statues with different materials from clay to jack wood. The pagoda sticks to a historical story of the Lady Mia, who had a contribution for restoring and extending the small pagoda initially. Move on to Duong Lam Ancient Village nearby which attracts visitors by special laterite houses, tradition of making delicious soya bean sauce and famous Mong Phu Communal House, whose time-honored ambience gives space for many historical drama filming activities. We will also have time to interact with the local residents and enjoy lunch at Duong Lam.
Continue the trip to Melia Bavi Mountain Retreat Resort (abt 30km away). We will spend about two hrs. biking around to visit historical ruins in the forest, originally built since the French colony to observe the Black River. Together with Bavi mountain, this area plays a significant role in the spiritual mindset of Vietnamese people, who believes that Tan mountain (aka Bavi) and the Black River maintain the spiritual power of the country. Returning to Melia and relaxing with spa services, dinner and overnight at Bavi.
Our wellness moment: spa and swimming pool relaxation.
