    Arrived, we will receive a warm welcome at Pu Luong Retreat, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in panoramic views of the rice terraces.     Adventure Day – Exploring Nature’s Beauty (B/L)

    Start the day with a hearty breakfast and a warm cup of tea while soaking in the breathtaking views of Pu Luong. Afterward, meet our friendly local guide at the retreat and embark on a short 7km car ride to Dong Dieng Village, where the adventure begins.
    From here, set off on a scenic trek through the stunning terraced rice fields leading to Kho Muong Village. Along the way, observe how the local guide effortlessly identifies various plants and herbs—an essential skill passed down through generations. Try your hand at recognizing different species and learn about their medicinal properties. The ethnic Thai community is known to identify 20 to 50 different herbs, each used for healing purposes.
    Arrived at Kho Muong, visit a traditional Thai stilt house, where you’ll see how these herbs are carefully prepared for a soothing herbal foot bath. Known for their therapeutic benefits, these natural remedies support circulation, skin health, and common ailments such as migraines and fevers.
    Enjoy a home-cooked lunch at a local house, taking time to rest. Afterward, explore the hidden cave of Kho Muong. Continue the journey with a gentle trek to Bang Village, passing through awe-inspiring mountain landscapes and terraced fields before reaching the main road.
    As the day winds down, a car will take you back to the retreat, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.

    Day 05

    Pu Luong Reserve – Ninh Binh (B)

    Breakfast and check out in the morning, we’ll have a private transfer to Ninh Binh, known for its gorgeous rock formations. 
    Our first stop will be Trang An for a special boat trip around the Trang An complex. Being endowed with a beautiful landscape, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex in Ninh Binh Province in Northern Viet Nam is called an “Ha Long Bay on land” with numerous caves, mountains, valleys, trees, and historic relics. Our local rowers will take you through  Trang An’s cave complex (Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou Cave). Along the river way, you will also have chances to admire the beautiful scenery of the mountains and rivers of the popular countryside in Vietnam. After that, we’ll continue to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, to visit the temple of King Dinh & Le before enjoying a free evening.

    Day 06

    Ninh Binh – Halong – Bai Tu Long Bay (B/L/D)

    After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Halong Bay, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site designated in 1994 and 2006, and check into our overnight boat. 
    11:50 – 12:15: Go to the port by a buggy, where the crew and staff will welcome you and assist with the check-in process onto the cruise ship.
    12:30 – 13:00: After boarding the cruise ship, you will enjoy tea and listen to an introduction about the itinerary and safety information for the journey, as well as check into your cabin.
    13:15: Have lunch at the onboard restaurant, featuring seafood dishes from Quang Ninh. The cruise ship will start its journey to explore Bai Tu Long Bay, passing through limestone islands and beautiful scenery along the bay.
    14:30: The tour guide will take you to visit Thien Canh Son Cave, where you can explore the natural beauty of the cave with unique stalactites formed over thousands of years.
    15:00: Join a kayaking excursion to discover the limestone islands in the bay before returning to the cruise ship.
    16:15: Back to the cruise ship and enjoy a sunset cruise on Bai Tu Long Bay.
    17:15: Join a Vietnamese cooking class.
    19:00: Rest and have dinner in a quiet and romantic atmosphere on the bay.
    20:00: Free time to relax, and you can also join the experience of squid fishing. Spend the night on Bai Tu Long Bay.

    Bai Tu Long bay - Halong - Hanoi – Overnight train to Da Nang (B/BR)

    07:00 – 07:15: Morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast is served on the cruise ship.
    07:45: Transfer by bamboo boat to visit Vung Vieng fishing village, where you can explore the unique way of life and the beautiful scenery of the fishing village amidst the natural heritage.
    08:45: Back to the cruise ship for relaxation and leisure time.
    09:45 – 10:00: Check out and enjoy some leisure time to relax and capture memorable moments as the cruise ship journeys through the stunning limestone island area.
    10:15: Enjoy a Set Menu Lunch while the cruise ship continues its journey on the bay.
    11:30: The cruise returns to the International Port of Ha Long.

    Hoi An – Da Nang – Siem Reap (B)

    After breakfast and checking out of your homestay, your guide and driver will pick you up for your journey to My Son Holy Land, an ancient religious and cultural site of the Champa Kingdom.
    Arrived, explore My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring over 70 ancient Hindu temples and tombs. Dating back to the 7th to 14th centuries, historical evidence suggests that Cham kings were buried here as early as the 4th century.
    Originally built from wood, many of the temples were destroyed by fire in the 6th century. In the 7th century, King Sambhuvarman rebuilt them using special bricks that have remarkably endured through time. By the 13th century, My Son had become a major Hindu religious center of the Champa Kingdom. Despite years of study, the construction techniques behind these ancient towers remain a mystery.
    After exploring My Son, head to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, check in, and enjoy some time to relax at your own pace.

    Let’s begin with a visit to the iconic Angkor Wat before continuing to Ta Prohm Temple, where ancient ruins are dramatically intertwined with giant tree roots. Cycle further through shaded jungle trails to the hidden Ta Nei Temple, peacefully preserved in its natural surroundings and offering a more secluded atmosphere.     After breakfast at the hotel, begin your morning with a visit to Tonle Sap Lake. Set off on a scenic 45-minute drive through the Cambodian countryside, passing lush rice fields and traditional villages. Along the way, stop at a local village to experience rural life, where you can see stilted houses, bustling markets, and daily activities that reflect the region’s unique culture.
    Upon arrival at Tonle Sap Lake, board a boat for a 1.5-hour cruise, gliding across Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Keep an eye out for migratory birds and fishermen casting their nets, offering a glimpse into the lake’s rich ecosystem.
    Explore the floating village of Kampong Phluk, whose name means "Harbor of the Tusks." Schools, police stations, and homes all float on the water, creating a fascinating, ever-changing community. From February to August, when water levels drop, you’ll witness the striking sight of houses perched high on stilts, revealing a completely different side of village life.

    Next, head to Silk Island Community Center, a sustainable initiative dedicated to preserving Cambodia’s traditional silk-making. This magnificent Buddhist temple, built in the 19th century, is one of the most famous in the Mekong Delta. A unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer, and French architectural styles, the pagoda is adorned with intricate carvings, colorful mosaics, and towering statues of Buddha, including a giant reclining Buddha symbolizing peace and enlightenment.
