This 7-day Vietnam journey is designed for school holidays—combining adventure, culture, and nature. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the peaceful mountains of Sapa, students will explore ethnic villages, hike through rice terraces, ride to the top of Fansipan Mountain, and visit wildlife rescue centers. With hands-on activities, scenic landscapes, and cultural exchange, it's an experience outside the classroom.

Itinerary

  1. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our tour director and transferred to your hotel in the center of Hanoi city. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll receive a brief orientation covering cultural norms, local customs, and safety tips to help you settle in comfortably. Check in to your hotel.
    If time permits, enjoy a leisurely walk around the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake, a peaceful green space in the city center and in the evening, gather for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, your first taste of Vietnamese cuisine.
    Meals: Dinner.
     

  2. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore some of Hanoi’s cultural and historical landmarks.
    Begin with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, dating back to the 11th century. Next, pass by the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum for an exterior view and learn about the surrounding area, including Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam’s independence in 1945, then visit Tran Quoc pagoda.
    Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring Vietnamese dishes
    Continue exploring the Old Quarter, wandering through its streets and corners, and watch a live water puppet show, an art form that dates back nearly 1,000 years.
    Return to the hotel and take time to relax.

  3. After breakfast, you’ll depart from your hotel on a private transfer to Sapa, a picturesque mountain town in northwest Vietnam known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant hill tribe cultures.
    Upon arrival in Sapa, enjoy lunch at a restaurant before checking into your hotel.
    In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village, home to the Black Hmong ethnic minority. Stroll through the village, explore traditional wooden houses, and walk down to a scenic waterfall nestled among rice terraces. 
    Later in the afternoon, return to your hotel to relax. The rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy at your own pace.

  4. After breakfast, embark on a nature-focused day exploring Hoang Lien National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna. Your visit includes a stop at Love Waterfall, a scenic spot surrounded by lush forest. Keep an eye out for native wildlife such as water buffalo, frogs, and various bird species. You can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural streams—an ideal way to connect with the serene environment.
    For lunch, you have two options: enjoy a BBQ picnic inside the park for a more immersive experience in nature, or return to Sapa town for lunch at a local restaurant.
    In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Conservation Rescue Center (CRC), where you’ll observe the team’s daily work in caring for rescued wildlife. Depending on the schedule, you may have a chance to assist with some light, hands-on activities to support the center's efforts.
    Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is yours to relax and spend at your leisure.

  5. Start your day with an exciting ascent to the summit of Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina at 3,147 meters. The cable car ride offers breathtaking panoramic views of Hoang Lien National Park, with sweeping vistas of green valleys and misty mountains below.
    Once you reach the upper station, challenge yourself to climb the final 1,000 steps to the summit. Reaching the "Roof of Indochina" is a rewarding experience, offering stunning views and a deep sense of accomplishment.
    In the afternoon, set out on a short trek through the scenic Muong Hoa Valley, one of the most picturesque areas in the region, the trail leads you pass through Lao Chai and Ta Van villages. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of terraced rice fields, observe daily rural life, and take the chance to connect and exchange culture with the locals.
    The hike ends in Ta Van village, where you have two overnight options:
    1. Camping at Utopia Campsite – A safe and spacious green area with clean toilets, hot showers, and a backup room available in case of bad weather.
    2. Staying with a local family in a homestay – Immerse yourself in village life, share stories, and experience traditional culture firsthand with your hosts.
    Meals: Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner.
     

  6. Start your morning early to catch the sunrise over the valley, an ideal moment to take in the fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast surrounded by nature.
    Afterward, return to Sapa town to visit the local market to browse traditional handicrafts or pick up souvenirs made by ethnic minority artisans.
    Then, board your bus for the return journey to Hanoi. Upon arrival in the afternoon, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

  7. After breakfast, there’s some free time for last-minute shopping or relaxing before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
