Day 01
ARRIVAL IN HANOI
Welcome to Vietnam! Your local guide meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel. Take the afternoon to rest after the flight. Check-in is from 2 pm; early check-in is subject to availability with a supplement.

Day 02
HANOI CITY TOUR
Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Hanoi

After breakfast, the group visits the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the exterior of the Mausoleum and the President's house, then One Pillar Pagoda, a small shrine built on a pillar above a square lake. The last stop is the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, dedicated to Confucius. The afternoon is free for guests to explore the Old Quarter's food and craft streets on their own.

Good to know: the Mausoleum is visited from the outside only.
Day 03
HANOI TO HALONG BAY
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner | Overnight: Halong Bay cruise

Guests who wake early can watch Hanoians exercise by the lake near the hotel: tai chi, jogging, martial arts and classical dance. After breakfast, a shuttle bus takes the group to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where they board the overnight cruise. After lunch on board, the group visits the grottoes, then swims or kayaks past floating houses and close to the islets. Back on the boat, a cooking demonstration comes before dinner, followed by evening activities or free time.

Good to know: the exact program depends on the final confirmed cruise and may vary slightly. Cruise options range from budget to luxury.
Day 04
HALONG BAY TO HOI AN
Meals: Breakfast, brunch | Overnight: Hoi An

Guests can catch the sunrise over the bay, where many islets are named for their shapes, such as the Fisherman's Head, Turtle, Sail, Incense Burner, Sea Dog and Cock Fighting rocks. After disembarking, a shuttle bus returns the group to Hanoi around midday and continues to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Da Nang. A local driver meets guests on arrival and transfers them to the hotel in Hoi An.

Good to know: this is the longest transit day of the tour, combining a bus transfer and a domestic flight.
Day 05
HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Hoi An

The morning is a guided walk through Hoi An Ancient Town: the tile-roofed Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese assembly halls, old trading houses and pagodas, and the market beside the Thu Bon River. The afternoon is free for lanterns, silk and same-day tailoring. In the late afternoon, guests can join an optional boat trip on the Thu Bon River to a small ceramic village. Dinner is at guests' own arrangement.

Day 06
HOI AN TO HUE
Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Hue

After check-out, a shuttle bus takes the group to Hue, Vietnam's first UNESCO-recognised cultural World Heritage site. The day covers the Royal Citadel, the Forbidden City and the Hue Royal Museum, followed by Thien Mu Pagoda in Phu Mong village on the Perfume River.
Day 07
HUE TO HO CHI MINH CITY
Meals: Breakfast, lunch | Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

After a relaxed morning, guests transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City and are met at Tan Son Nhat Airport. The group first drops luggage at the hotel, then starts the city tour at the Reunification Palace, now a museum and reception hall for official visits. Nearby are the Central Post Office and the colonial-style Notre-Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
Day 08
SAIGON AT LEISURE
Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

A free day for guests to explore downtown Saigon and shop for typical local products, all within one compact area. Optional add-ons to the Cu Chi Tunnels or the Mekong Delta are available on request.
Day 09
DEPARTURE

Guests have a slow last morning until the transfer to the airport for the flight home. Hotel check-out is at 12:00, and our services end at the airport.
