Day 01
ARRIVE IN YANGON – CITY VISIT IN THE AFTERNOON (-/-/-)
Upon arrival, you'll greet by your guide who will accompany and transfer you to your hotel. (Early check-in subjected to room availability)

Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes it one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia.

On the way, we’ll visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built for memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, is located on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Mayangon Township. And then proceed to Mahapasana Guha: "Great Cave", built close to the Kaba Aye Pagoda.

Here, end your day at Shwedagon Pagoda which is one of the wonders of the world. It was built 2500 years ago and enshrined with hair relics of Buddha and a place where to meet devoted Buddhists meditating and praying. Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point.

Used to be a solo traveler, this Overall Myanmar tour with Threeland was my first group travel ever. Tour was a bit fast-pace as it included mostly best attractions of Myanmar, yet well-balanced also. I especially liked that we also had enough free time on our own to discover places and food around. They also arranged many interesting activities for the tour: sunset contemplation, handi-craft old villages visit, etc. Our tour guide was also knowledgable, informative, and humorous.
It's not bad to have a group tour as it saved my time on researching, and I think I learned more than solo traveling.
