Being a ''World Heritage'' as designated by UNESCO twice - in 1994 and 2006, the Bay contains several thousand islet with main structure of limestone and dolomite and well known as one of the top natural wonders ever known for its uniqueness.  Upon arrival in the Wharf at Tuan Chau Island, we’ll take a big boat to cruise the Bay to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” Bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks, grottoes and beaches. After a lunch of fresh seafood, we can visit a big cave or spend time to go swimming or kayaking. Back to the wharf after 4 or 5 hours cruising. Return to Hanoi for overnight.

  2. Head west of Hanoi to a charming village, where you'll enjoy spontaneous encounters and conversations with locals about their daily lives. Visit some of the village’s most cherished landmarks. After the visit, enjoy lunch at a quality restaurant featuring Vietnamese delicacies. Spend the afternoon at leisure upon returning to your hotel in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Life here is simple and hard-working, and the village is home to the remarkable Mong Phu Communal House (Đình Mông Phụ)—a frequent setting for both Vietnamese and international film productions seeking an authentic image of Northern Vietnam. Duong Lam is also the birthplace of several national heroes from the 9th to the 20th century and is known for its ancient Buddhist pagodas and clay statues. Lunch is served in the village.

These family museums preserve not only the history of each household and the village, but also the broader story of Vietnam in the late 20th century and beyond.

Navigating the traffic is quite the hair rising experience! Worth it because the experience is great! Best to hire a local food tour guide to take you to the best food places (which are the family run restaurants). Always crowded, and we felt safe walking around at night.

Our group had an amazing time. We loved kayaking. The cabins were comfortable. Hiking was great. All meals were tasty and delicious ( especially BBQ seafood and the mocktails ). Learning how to cook spring rolls was cool. Loved the visit to the fishing village house and the history, cultural information. Happy was outstanding. Only downside was that karaoke machine, did not work
