In order to prepare for a strong return of the tourism industry in the context of the new normal, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a dispatch on strengthening the management and organization of the festival in 2022.
As a result, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism advised localities to strengthen inspection and supervision before, during, and after the festival, to promptly prevent and strictly handle acts of profiteering, inciting violence, circulating, and trading in illegal cultural products; and not to allow the award ceremony to devolve into a profiteering service, compromising the traditional cultural beauty.
Allow no objects to take advantage of and attract crowds at the festival in order to propagate and promote activities that show signs of cult, superstitious beliefs, are contrary to fine customs and traditions, or are in violation of regulations on the observance of civilized life's customs and traditions.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed, in particular, organizing solutions for implementing a civilized lifestyle at festival activities; promoting propaganda, popularization, and raising people's sense of self-discipline and law observance; regularly warning people not to be subjective, neglect disease prevention and control, limit the burning of votive goods... Prepare plans for traffic control and safety, river safety, prevention, explosion-proofing, security and order, and food safety and cleanliness for both residents and tourists.
Develop a plan to inspect the festival's management and organization in 2022, with the goal of checking and evaluating the implementation of the Party's, State's, Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism's guiding documents on festival management and organization; grasp the current situation at the grassroots in festival management and organization nationwide, as well as the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the locality; and quickly detect inadequacy.
