Visitors to China from 8/1 only need to test negative

From January 8, 2023, China will reopen its borders and remove the "Zero Covid" policy, moving into the "living with the virus" phase.

According to the Chinese newspaper, up to this point all tourists entering the country only need a negative test certificate. All quarantine measures and medical procedures are omitted by the Chinese government.

To travel and enter China, in addition to the usual visa procedures, visitors only need to give a negative test result (the form of a rapid test or PCR, there is no official information). The Covid-19 test is done within 48 hours before entering China.

If the test results are electronic, they need to be printed out and brought with them; language is Vietnamese, Chinese or English; Use a mask during the flight.
