1. Visit the official website for E-visa applications approved by the Immigration of Vietnam. Visit

2. Complete the e-visa application form. The form initially requests the applicant to provide his or her personal information, such as name, date of birth, passport number, arrival date, and so on.

3. After filling out the form, pay the E-visa fees online using a credit card.

4. The approval procedure takes 3-5 business days following payment of the fee. The status of the application may be verified using the registration code that the applicant gets after payment.

5. Once the E-visa has been approved, a printout of the permission must be transported to Vietnam, together with other relevant papers such as the passport.


6. When you arrive at one of Vietnam's entrance ports, the immigration official will review your permission letter and passport before stamping it. The passport must be valid for more than six months. The officer may also request passport-sized pictures, hotel reservations, and other documents, either to be filed or just checked.
