After a short stay in Saigon, you will embark on board, traveling to Mekong delta area. Casting off at the first day light, you arrived the same day at Vinh Long in the heart of the Mekong Delta, sailing amidst islets of lush and colorful tropical orchard. Your itinerary lasts 7 days through typical lands by river of Vietnam and Cambodia such as Sa Dec, Long Xuyen, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap. Itinerary

  1. 8h00-8h15 A.M: Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and depart to Mekong Delta.

    Arrival at the Delta of the Mekong at the end of the morning. Transfer by junk to a sumptuous traditional residence, former imperial residence where the descendants of the Kiet family open their doors to welcome you to discover the sublime interior and walk through the garden strewn with fruit trees. Tea is offered, accompanied by a tasty selection of tropical fruits.

    Direction to the artisanal factories of products based on rice and coconut: rice alcohol, puffed rice cakes, rice paper, sweets made from coconut milk...

    Embarkation on the boat of Le Cochinchine, welcomed by a welcome cocktail.

    Lunch on board while the boat sails on the wide river in the direction of Cai Thia.

    Cycling along the islands of Cai Thia taking picturesque views of the rural activities of local residents.

    Enjoying a therapeutic massage on the upper deck while contemplating the sunset on the Mekong.

    Dinner and overnight on board.

  2. Breakfast on board.

    At the entrance of the town, you will visit a brickworks to understand the life of local people.

    Continue to the city center for a visit to the lively market of Sa Dec followed by the traces of Marguerite Duras, including the old house of Mr. L’Amant, the school for girls of Trung Vuong, founded at the beginning of the 20th century by Marguerite Duras’s mother.

    In the heart of the village of Sa Dec, discover the temple of Caodaism-a new South Western Vietnam from 1926, and the flower garden and bonsai of Sa Sec.

    Return to the boat, lunch on board when the boat cruises towards Long Xuyen through the inverted channel of Lap Vo with magnificent scenery along the shores: River activities, flower cultivation, vegetables, shrimp trap, children bathing.

    Discover the countryside and villages when you arrive at the crocodile farm in Long Xuyen.

    Participation in the cooking class with the typical dish of the Mekong Delta "The pumpkin flower stuffed with the fish of the Mekong".

    Dinner and overnight on board in Long Xuyen.

  3. Breakfast on board over the sunrise.

    Explore the Long Xuyen market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods.

    Walking or cycling through the countryside and villages on the island of Ong Ho by discovering the daily life of the local people and visiting the ancient home of the President of Ton Duc Thang, Vietnam's second president after President Ho Chi Minh. You will have a unique opportunity to discover a side of Delta life that few travelers experience.

    Enjoy lunch on boat while our cruise carries on our journey to the village of Hoa Hao.

    On arrival, transfer to the local boat for the visit of the floating village of the fishermen and the village to the handicrafts of Cham where the inhabitants practice Islamism.

    Dinner and overnight on board in Chau Doc.

  4. This morning, we have a speedboat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh departing at 7h30 A.M. The boat takes us along the Mekong River. It continues on to the Vietnamese (Vinh Xuong) - Cambodian (Kaom Samnar) border and then to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. The journey takes approximately 4 hours.

    Arrival at our hotel in Phnom Penh, the capital of Kingdom of Cambodia. A visit of Phnom Penh is a very interesting experience indeed. It is a city with an interesting pulse and it gives you a very true taste of Asia. We will visit the Wats Phnom, National museum, silver Pagoda and Royal Palace.

  5. This morning there will be a transfer to Phompenh airport to Siemriep. Arrival Siemriep, transfer to the hotel.

    We will visit the Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake and take boat trip to see the daily life on the village. The natural wonder of Tonle Sap offers an insight into the old tradition of riparian life and the natural splendor of the countryside.

    Afternoon, continue visit to WatThmey, contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. After that, visit to Wat Memorial Monument. Later this afternoon, early evening, you will be taken by TukTuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia, to cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap town.

  6. Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle.

    Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters. Tonight we will enjoy diner with traditional Khmer folk performance of Apsara at the local restaurant.

  7. Breakfast at hotel.

    At leisure to visit the market or "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles" of Siem Reap (if time permits). Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight. End of our services.
