Tam Giang Lagoon

The Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system covers an area of more than 22,000 hectares stretching 68 km in Phong Dien, Quang Dien, Phu Vang, Phu Loc and Huong Tra districts. This is the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia.

To see the sunrise at Tam Giang lagoon, you need to start at 5:30, travel about 45 minutes for a distance of about 20 km. Don't forget to try specialties from fish and shrimp, including orca fish cakes. This is a fish caught from the lagoon and sold at a nearby market. The meat of orcas is very sweet, eaten with banh chung and salty fish sauce, which will make visitors remember forever.

Ru Cha Forest

Primary mangrove forest belongs to Tam Giang lagoon, Thuan Hoa village, Huong Phong commune, Huong Tra town. "Ru" means forest, and "cha" means a tree in mangrove areas. If you come here in the fall, you can also admire the bright yellow color of the flowers blooming throughout the forest.

Young people who come to Ru Cha forest are very interested in taking pictures on the deep concrete road and two rows of trees. From the city center, if you follow Highway 49, you will see a signboard to turn left in the direction of Tam Giang bridge, go about 4 km more. There is no fee to visit Ru Cha forest.

Chuon Lagoon

Chuon lagoon is a community-based eco-tourism site. It offers accommodation and food services, guests can stay overnight. From the city center. In Hue, you follow To Huu Street to go to Highway 49, then follow the direction of An Truyen to go straight to Chuon lagoon. Cars and motorbikes are the most convenient means of transportation.

Go to Chuon village, find the fisherman's house along the lagoon, you can ask to rent a boat to visit, the price is 200,000-250,000 VND a trip can carry 4-6 people. When the sun is red, it is also the time when the rhythm of life in Chuon lagoon becomes lively with the sound of oars beating the water carrying fish and shrimp.

Bach Ma National Park

Bach Ma is about 40 km from the center, you can travel by car by tour, including local guides, specialized terrain vehicles and overnight hotels. The terrain in the national park is hilly and steep, so it is difficult to go. Be physically prepared if you want to trek to the top of Bach Ma 1,450 m high.

Bach Ma National Park is an ideal place where many tourists stop to watch the sunset. In the evening, you rest at an old French villa in the national park. In this journey, visitors can combine stargazing at night in Bach Ma.

Thuan An Beach

Lang Co Bay

Lang Co beach is about 8km long, located along National Highway 1A, next to Hai Van Pass and 24km from Bach Ma National Park. This is a beach with a gentle beach, white sand, medium and large waves. Adjacent to Lang Co beach is Hai Van mountain, behind the beach is Lap An lagoon and Bach Ma mountain range.

Lap An lagoon

Lap An lagoon, also known as An Cu lagoon, is about 800 hectares wide, located near National Highway 1A, connecting Da Nang to Hue. Located at the foot of Phu Gia Pass, the lagoon is surrounded by Bach Ma mountain range, one side is Lang Co Bay.

Hai Van Quan

Hai Van Quan was built in 1826, is a military fortress guarding on the top of Hai Van pass, has a very favorable location, is known as the "most part" of the Hue capital. Hai Van Quan is like the southern gate of the land of Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan - Hue. Hai Van Quan is located at the top of a pass that crosses a mountain range crashing into the sea from the Truong Son range. The peak of Hai Van pass is 496m above sea level, 77.3km south of Hue and 28.7km north of Da Nang.

Thuy Tien Lake

This is one of the most famous abandoned water parks in the world. Many backpackers come to Vietnam to make it a unique check-in point.

This park used to cost 70 billion VND to build and opened in 2004 but did not attract many visitors, so it stopped operating a few years later.

Types of drinks, you can try tofu, soy sauce, tea. Roasted pork filter powder is a delicious dish only eaten in Hue. Price from 15,000 VND a cup, in many sidewalk shops, the price can be cheaper. The most famous place is Mo Ton Dich tea in Thuong Bac park.

To find authentic Hue restaurants, try to find places located in corners and alleys with old, rustic or unsigned signs, the better. The restaurant's name starts with "Mu", "Me", "O", "Be", most of the chefs are original Hue people, the more delicious the dishes are. In particular, the older the owner, the better the food is sold.
