DAY 1: SIEM REAP ( 3 DAYS )

Siem Reap is considered as an awe-inspiring starting point of this journey. On the first day, you might need a short rest to freshen up and release jet-lag, so take it easy to wander or just do some roaming trip on a tuk-tuk around the city if you feel like it. Senteurs d’Angkor, War Museum, Angkor Night Market, Pub Street … are worth-noting places to visit.

It’s must be a big missing if you don’t gear up the exploration of Angkor complex temple: Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. You need to pay attention that there are 3 different types of tickets: 37 USD, 62 USD and 72 USD respectively to 1-day, 3-day or 7-day tour. Free entrance is available for children under 12, and there are no student discounts. An important thing to note is that tickets must be kept carefully. Should they be lost, you will receive a 100 to 300 USD fine. Bear in mind that the clothing you are wearing should simple and polite as well as possible.

Sites like Royal Palace Compex, Silver Pagoda, Tuol Sleng Prison, National Museum, etc are definitely worth seeing.

Just bear in mind to bring along your paper such as visa, ID,… if you don’t want to get trouble. As soon as you set foot in here, you will receive a warm welcome from swarms of endless motorbikes. Don’t be freaked out, just take a small break in order to skip the rush hours, and here we go. I bet you cannot experience all the highlights of a vibrant city within one short day.

The influence of French architecture, combining with its own, creates a beauty that solely Hanoi can truly possess. Some of the visitors might say Hanoi is just a small version of Ho Chi Minh City, but that’s where they are wrong. Both cities have their respective signatures, which distinguished one another. The best way to prove this is none other than to travel yourself.

A walk around Hoan Kiem Lake during the weekends (if you can), observe the normal-day life of the Vietnamese, chat a bit with some locals, … Or just rent a motorbike and ride around the city. It would not even be a bad idea to check in some bars or pubs at Tay Ho to see if there is someone from your country as well. Thung Nham Bird Park, located in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district, is one of the destinations full of cultural, spiritual, landscape and biodiversity elements. Besides the interesting feeling when sitting on a boat, admiring the lagoon, visitors can also explore the wildlife of nearly 40 species of birds with about 50,000 children.

Let’s move on to the next destination: “Tam Coc” - means "three caverns", including Ca cave, Hai cave and Ba cave. All three caves are formed by the Ngo Dong river stabbing through the mountain. Tam Coc is the first cruise line to be exploited in Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area. Ca cave is 127 m long, through a large mountain, its mouth is over 20 m wide. In the cave, the climate is quite cool and there are many stalactites hanging down with various shapes.

You can relax on a fancy cruise ship, discover the spectacular caves, grottoes, and islands. Out in the waters, you can go kayaking, fishing, visiting floating villages, or see all it has to offer on a seaplane … If you crave for some excitements, then Sunworld and Tuan Chau are places to be.
