New route help
connect Vietnam and Taiwan by Vietnam Airlines
 Passengers
who’re taking flights between Hanoi – Vietnam to Kaohsiung –
the second biggest city of Taiwan, will have more choice to
the area with Vietnam Airlines.
The national flag carrier – Vietnam airlines planed to add
three flights weekly on its new fourth direct route to
Taiwan by Airbus. The flights will depart at 6.30 pm and at
7.35 am local time in Hanoi and takes 2.30 hours to reach
the destinations. It increases the flights of Vietnam -
Taiwan to 28 weekly and its international routes to 46.
Vietnam Airline also offers a promotion program for the
opening ceremony with the pre – tax ticket price at USD 385
for 1,400 seats. Passengers from North America, North Asia
have great chance to make connection at Taiwan to Vietnam at
great deals, sometimes up to 30% discount.
According to CAAV - the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam,
Vietnam Airlines, the company will be IPO at the end of
2012, will serve 17.5 million passengers in 2011, an
increase of 21 percent comparing with 2010. The opening of
new air routes is considered a big step to prepare for the
aviation market in near future.
