Over 11 months, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Japan and Thailand were the largest source markets.

Siem Reap provincial tourism department administration chief, Chhoeuy Chhorn, told Xinhua news that good relations and an increase in direct flights had boosted arrivals from China.
“Chinese tourists to the temple increased thanks to cordial diplomatic relations, broader promotion of Angkor and more direct flight connections between the two countries.”
Last month, Air China launched flights between China’s Beijing and Cambodia’s Siem Reap province and Cambodia Angkor Air started flight linking Cambodia to China’s Shanghai.
“These new flight destinations will further encourage more Chinese tourists to visit Angkor,” he said.
The entrance fee to the Angkor Historical Park costs US$20 a day (foreigners only), US$40 for a three-day visit and US$60 for a week-long visit.
The park was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1992 and is now the kingdom’s largest cultural tourist destination. In 2012, it attracted 2.06 million foreign visitors, up 28% year on year.
